Studio Gianluca Flütsch is a Swiss graphic design studio based in Zurich.
The studio works across cultural and commercial projects, focusing on identity-driven design. Visual identities are developed through close reading of content and context, taking the form of typographic systems, editorial structures or motion principles rather than fixed stylistic signatures.
Design is understood as a tool to make complex content accessible and legible. It aims to create clarity without reducing complexity, responding to the specific conditions of each project.
Branding is not a fixed set of visual assets but a long-term process – an evolving system that adapts across media, formats and audiences.
The studio’s approach is research-driven and collaborative, involving close exchange with clients, curators or authors, as well as contextual and archival research.
The goal is not visibility for its own sake, but to support orientation, enable access to content and create relevance over time.
Studio Gianluca Flütsch is particularly interested in collaborations with cultural institutions, publishers, independent initiatives and organizations seeking thoughtful, identity-driven design.
Gianluca Flütsch (born 1996 in Davos) studied Visual Communication at the Zurich University of the Arts and has worked at studios including 2×4 (New York), Mainstudio (Amsterdam), Evoq (Zurich) and C2F (Lucerne).
His practice focuses on visual identity systems across editorial and digital contexts.
