Academy of Architecture

The Academy of Architecture Amsterdam organizes an annual Graduation Week. The 2021 edition was shaped by a pandemic constraint: visitors had to maintain distance, which forced the exhibition routing into a strict zig-zag path through the building – entering at the emergency exit, exiting at the main entrance.
This one-way logic became the conceptual foundation of the identity. The labyrinth-like routing informed the visual language: directional, interwoven, and built around movement through space. The identity extended across outdoor flags, window decals, a city-wide poster and animation campaign, social media graphics, and a diploma publication – with student names printed in the identity’s typeface directly on the walls, placing them in dialogue with the building itself.
